Friday is the deadline to sign up for the annual KOMA Beef Cattle Conference, hosted by University of Missouri extension and their counterparts in Oklahoma.  Springfield Livestock Marketing Center will host the conference Tuesday afternoon, and Extension livestock specialist Patrick Davis says the focus of this year’s conference is to provide the latest information and tips on raising cow-calf pairs.

Dinner catered by Mingles will come before the session on beef genetics with Jared Decker of Mizzou.  The final speaker with be the keynote delivered by David Lalman, the Harrington Chair beef cattle specialist with Oklahoma State University Extension.
