WINE TRAIL CONNECTS FARMERS WITH CONSUMERS

Over 700 people made their way through Hermann last Saturday, not only taking in wine and food pairings through the historic river town, but also visiting with farmers about agriculture.  The Farmers’ Table Wine Trail was hosted by Missouri CommonGround, a group of farm women who share with primary grocery shoppers their experiences raising food.  CommonGround members were at each stop on the wine trail, including Meagan Kaiser of Bowling Green:

Kaiser said it was her first time volunteering for a CommonGround event.

CommonGround is supported by the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council and other major commodity groups.  More information is available on their website.
