The first annual “Clinton’s Best Home-Made Ice Cream” competition will be held on Saturday night, August 9th in conjunction with August Cruise Night on the Downtown Clinton Square.

Just a little over four years ago, a former teacher with an idea and a helpful community member made an idea into a reality. A reality that to date has helped many, many teachers in the Henry and St. Clair County schools and four outlying schools, save over $130,000.

The next American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held August 21 and August 22, 2014. This blood drive will be the “Battle of the Badges” -- a friendly challenge between the Clinton Police Department, Clinton Fire Department and Henry County Sheriff’s Department.
