Missouri Department of Agriculture Director Chris Chinn identified rural broadband access as one of her top priorities when she began the job earlier this year. It’s now one of the department’s four announced priorities.
Chinn says the department has been in contact with the governor’s office and other stakeholders to explore ways to expand rural broadband access. Another pillar of Chinn’s vision is empowering more Missouri farmers through less burdensome regulations.
